Product Datasheets
| HBcAb-IgG
Hepatitis B core antibody is also called anti-HBC, and its English abbreviation is HBcAb. After HBV infection, this antibody can be detected in the blood of most people. It is a sensitive serological marker and also an early sign of acute hepatitis B infection. It exists in the serum for a long time and has a very high titer in some people. It is not a protective antibody. HBcAb can be classified into three types: anti-HBCIGM, anti-CIGA, and anti-HBCIGG. In HBV infection, these types occur successively and disappear successively. Only the IgG type can exist for a long time.| Typical data
As the OD values of the standard curve may vary according to the conditions of the actual assay performance (e.g. operator, pipetting technique, wash technique or temperature effects), the operator should establish a standard curve for each test. Typical standard curve and data are provided below for reference only.
| Repeatability
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay):CV% < 10%; Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays):CV% < 10%| Recovery
The recovery of Human HBcAb-IgG spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.| Linearity
Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Human HBcAb-IgG and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.
